Our History
From Sant Llorenç d’Hortons to your bar, to your fridge.
The passion to create a different, natural, and local beer. And the vocation of two biologists to give life to a beer with personality and a special character. A unique high-quality beer. Crafted in the heart of Penedès. A beer to enjoy, not only of the beer itself, but also of all the process: from the first idea, the first tests, the whole elaboration… To finally drinking it in company.
Joining the Passion and the Vocation
Arnau Rovira, our head brewer, and Teresa Galván, our management and sales director, started up the project together in 2012 after having international experiences in Denmark and Germany. Starting off as Gypsy Brewers and striving for a place on bars, fridges, and beer fests, soon we made a leap forward and opened up our brewery in Sant Llorenç d’Hortons.
After nine years giving life to beers full of life, and with a team that has expanded up to twelve workers, we continue as we start: with the tireless desire to craft natural beers, with character, to enjoy each sip.
Our brewery, located in Sant Llorenç d’Hortons, in the heart of Penedès, has a production capacity of 2,000 hL per year, from which we distribute throughout Catalonia and Spain, besides exporting to other European countries like the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway, France, Italy or Serbia.
